Summertime used to mean re-runs constantly! However, now a days, some networks bring out their “Summer Shows” and I am so glad! Those shows are great to record and watch on rainy summer nights, or on days like this past weekend when it was just STUPID hot outside (105 degrees anyone?).
Here are 2 of my favorites!
First up, Rizzoli & Isles. This comes on TNT, and I love it! It seems that cable networks don’t cancel shows as fast as the traditional networks (NBC, CBS, ABC). I am a huge fan of Angie Harmon, and she makes an excellent cop on this show!
Whale Wars comes on Animal Planet on Friday nights. This show captures the life of the Sea Shepherds, who are taking on the Japanese whaling fleet for what they say is illegal whaling. The Japanese counter that they are only killing whales for research. I love this show for some crazy reason!

I’m waiting for Breaking Bad to come back tomorrow night. Also watching Weeds, Web Therapy and of course, Dance Moms!

I love Whale Wars, but haven’t watched it in a few seasons. Very near & dear to my heart. This summer, I’ve kept up with True Blood, Deadliest Catch & Single Ladies (not sure exactly why I love this show, but I do). Looking forward to another season of Parenthood this fall, along with Duck Dynasty.
