It’s been awhile since I have been able to join in the “meme” on VivoBello’s blog about proactive kindness.   So many people call it a Random Act of kindness, when in fact we aren’t being random – we are actually being proactive at giving an act of kindness does that make it a PAOK?).

I’ve made it a point to wish all my customers a good day (evening, weekend, etc) when I hang up the phone with them.   It’s something little, takes literally a nano second – but I’m sure that I’ve put a smile on at least 1 or 2 of their faces.

My latest “PAOK” was paying for the food for the people in the car behind me at McDonalds a few weeks ago.  It was 2 teenage girls, most likely from the local high school on their lunch period.  I asked the cashier their total, and gave her my card.  She was so surprised she went and told her manager who smiled so big.  At the next window where i picked up my food – they were smiling so big at me.   I got some beautiful smiles, and the girls behind me got a free lunch.

Make the world better……build the chain of kindness – one PROACTIVE act at a time.
